After rebooting a redis sentinel node the two redis hosts reports one dead sentinel

In both debian and unbuntu we are experiencing that when rebooting a sentinel node the redis servers report 4 sentinels instead of 3 (one dead).

Is this expected behavour, or can we avoid this happening somehow?
